-Long Time no update, sorry to all 3 of my fans. I recently got a part time job at Hollywood video and been studying hard for school and all that, I gotta do well in school cause whats the point of paying for college to just slack off. With that being said enough of the Cheeseman:true life story.
-Contact info=mutatedarms@yahoo.com and aim=cheesemanboat. To anyone who wants to harass me or talk about HC or whatever. Im gonna try to do one post a week. For this post i wanted to focus on the last month of my music buying activities. If you know me ,for awhile i have ha strong hatred toward cd's. But for some reason i have recently decided to start buying them again.I belive my reason is getting ticked off at the negative effects on downloading music . I have nothing against it,blah blah blah. But sometimes the sound quality of transferred mp3's is horrible, and even worse coming out of your computer compared to putting a CD in your CD player or even better, a tape in your tape player or the best for last, a record on a record player. downloading also takes the initial surprise of first hearing records, its like opening your presents when your 7 and finding out you
-My thoughts bogus? of course, but to the point of the post. I'm gonna analyze all the music i have bought in the month of November, the back story of where I got it, a short review, and how much it costs. here it rolls.
CD's
So yeah i guess im not to hardcore but life's to short to only like on genre of music, I have no shame in listening to whatever i like. So Anyways
Foo Fighters-Colour and Shape: Decent LP the First one is way Better and third LP is better as well but still isnt bad about 2-3 kinda duddish songs that im not into a solid effort by David Grohl and his army.I got this at amoeba Recs. in Hollywood for 6.99 in the used section.
Nirvana-Insecticide: Man this rules all the kind different versions of their ragers, acoustics as well, great value. 5.99 in the used section at amoeba recs.
Beastie Boys-Anglio e olio: The best record capital records has done? haha, its true this is raging hardcore in the midst of the Beastie Boys rap popularity they went back to their roots and raged out some hardcore 8 songs in around 8 minutes. They have insane riffage going, If your into Harpoon Guns youll love this. The Beastie boys wont let the beat DROP. 4.99 bucks in the used Rap section of Amoeba recs.
The Offspring-Smash: Everyone has one big band that gets em into better stuff. For me it was the Offspring, this album is pretty good i think the s/t stuff is my favorite but its fairly decent one of epitaphs finer releases. Lyrical content is raging(pre fly for a white guy). Used Section of amoeba 6.99
Government Warning-No Moderation: Its not pictured cause i gave it to my good friend who enjoyed it. I couldnt belive this was in the used section holy shit what idiot what trade this in for 1 or 2 dollar trade in value. This is like the modern classic record blah blah i had it on 12" for awhile so i didn't need 2 copies. Man Government warning rage we listened to this in the car and it boggled my mind for the billionth time. Im glad i got to see em twice when they came out here. with the almighty Wasted Time. 4.99 used section amoeba recs

One of the greater formats known to man i got 3 demos and some regular old releases.
Demos:
I got three demos form the sorry state records webstore. I love how Sorry State has a knack of finding Demos of bands ive never heard of in my life that also have very little contact info. cause thafs what demos are all about knowing nothing about a band and checking them out.
Insubordinates: Man this thing is awesome, its the prime cut of all the Demos, It sounds like the tape is warped out but thats just the sound their going for, no problems here . To me it sounds Like Brain Handle Meets Walking Wreck. got it from Sorry State Records webstore for 2 or 3 dollars
Sack Lunch: wasn't to impressed i wanted a screaching weasel cause i heard they had the lookout recs. sound they do, just the bands im not into on lookout recs. sorry state webstore. 2 dollars
God Fodder: Ripping hardcore "80's" influenced, everyones getting that comparrison but everyones playing that music, theirs nothing wrong with it at all it rules, good recording, nice energy behind the band, slammi from miami would approve, Horrible name though not as bad as the Burger Violence name though so at least its not the worst name out their. sorry state webstore 3 dollars.
Non demo-tapes
Replacements-pleased to meet you: Not bad not amazing just an average release, Sorry Ma i forgot to take out the trash is still the jam. 1.99 amoeba tape section.
Greenday-insomniac: Brainstew/Jaded is my jam. Fuck the haters their first couple albums are pretty decent. Its awesome cause this cassette is slighty warped so its listenable and gives it a rawer recording making it way more enjoyable. 1.99 amoeba tape section
Nirvana-In Utero: 3rd LP their all tied to me in greatness,Pernoyll tea is my jam. why not pick up the hard copy on tape ya know? 3.99 at amoeba tape section
7"
My perhaps favorite format? who knows i like em all.
No Bullshit 3: nice compilation of current hardcore bands. The only problem is after 2 compilation its almost like you know whos gonna be on them. They thing i liked about the first no bs is it had bad dirty hate who the fuck were they? that ruled. Now you get Life Trap who ive heard enough off their 7" wasnt bad but the no bs track sounds like a generic street punk song . Chronic seizure song sounds like their other song sleepwalker but still is decent. Acid Reflux song was on the demo. Double Negative,Out Cold, and Socialcide tracks ruled though. why not buy it? 4 bucks at the no way wreckchords.
Crossed Eyes-Rattled: I avoided this thing based on the description thinking it would be like the Ergs cause i hate the ergs vocal style. To my suprise this thing fucking rules , Imagine Marked Men and Observers get into a blender and that blender gets dropped off in North Carolina. Then you would have Crossed eyes, Never doubt the almighty Sorry State! Picked up at Amoeba records in the record section of all places for 3.99.
Unity-You Are One: One of the best postive records i remember having this put somehow could not find it. Why not buy it again, their sxe but whatever its better than kottonmouth kings what a joke that band is. Anyways this jams are the best PMA,Explanation for action,You Are one it could be flawless if they just pressed it without the poem, come on please! UC and Unity dont need the poems! do it for the children!. Headline Records in hollwood for 4.99
Operation Ivy-hectic ep: Given to by a very good friend i had doubts i wouldnt like it based on seeing idiotic kids were their shirts. But then again idiots were super mario shirts and i still bust that game out all the time. This record is pretty great theirs a shitload of energy in it and its fast tunes mixed with ska beats that i actually like, me liking ska parts? theirs a first for everything i guess. Junkies Runnin dry is my jam, Bombshell is my toast. Purchased at the Degrandis Manor for free Great Deal!
12"
The ultimate format?
Devo-Freedom Of Choice: What a score in the bargain bin at amoeba, It sounds like your in a video game, the only new wave band you ever need if they even are considered that? Devo is my band i discovered for being a cheep bastard(i got Q: are we men for 2.99 as well). And by far one of the top non punk/hardcore bands , "whip it" is on here , but all the other songs are just as good if not better. bargain section of amoeba .99 cents deal in the hizzle.
Child Abuse-1977: Pre simpletons band, Garage style recording. The problem its only three fucking songs! should have looked at the back. one of them being an Avengers cover. so it could have been a 7" but you can make more money of 12" whata buncha dicks. 11.99 at headline(def not a score)
Skate Korpse-Disocgraphy LP: Man this is amazing the 7"s and demo tracks all on one 7". This band is truly more of a surf sounding band than skating. They sound like a hardcore version of the ventures with a drugged out Jello Biafro which is fucking great, even covering the Dead Kennedys -Moon Over Marin. One of the best bands of the last five years. This whole LP is my jam. 10.99 at headline not to bad of a deal
