I tend to be a big jerk and think it should be shared throughout the entire galaxy so here are my reviews of records in a stack i picked out. spelling errors are just part of the expierence
CRITICAL PICNIC-E.P. 7" : What a shitty name for an EP just EP? what about self titled or basket eaters or something. the tour press cover has splattered real blood on it i would have much rather had a stick of stale bubble gum in it. The record itself if you were first getting into hardcore this would be one you would never want to hear, it would make you want to switch music genres. From jazz or to techno rap either way. Its good noisy 4 track recorded hardcore tunes that are recorded in that lo-fi deal, so all you hipsters at the smell may enjoy this. This is recomended for the diehard hardcore fans that dig those random 80s bands that everyone else would mention at the time of this part of their review. I like the lyrical content is very controversial but only to yuppies that want to sell records. They have a song called beat women, for some reason these guys are the ugliest guys around but still all manage to have girlfriends so just an interestion song to write about. With 8 songs all being decent t the 2 real standalone hits are Hateboard and Littering shred. Grab your local basket and indulge in a critical picnic.(smoking barrel records)
SHOOT IT UP-POP 7": This band basically sounds like a more garagy, worsely recorded, version of street trash in the best way possible. Quite enjoyable drug addled dirty punk rock tunes that are totally worth spinning a second time.(fashionalble idiots)
COCOCOMA:not a bad 7" with do alright garage rock tunes. This format is starting to bug the hell out of me the 2 song singles with no lyric sheet and a paper cover with no sleeve costing 5 bucks. not worth the cash but an alright record musically.
CROSS LAWS- ANCIENT RITES 7": a now disbanded band that didnt exist to long but managed to get better on each release they did this one included. This one is limited to 500 instead of 300 so you may be able to actually find it unlike the previous record. This band sorta reminds me of if the fix could have been better recorded and been faster, recomended to the fullest(sorry state records)
BORED TO DEATH-7": 8 song 7" that really came out of nowhere. Never heard anything of this band just saw they were japanese and the song title being from a government issue song i couldnt resist. It rages from start to finish the only flaw of the record is if your color blind and cant tell that your red vinyl is actually pink. If your a fan of DC hardcore this is one to pick up. If you a fan of hardcore in general pick this up. limited to 300 from what i recall.(sorry state records)
